Dear Xaverians, Parents and Well-Wishers,
Greetings from Fr. Zenith William,S.J.
St. Xavier’s School, Durgapur, has been more than a school for thousands of students over the years. Past students and parents fondly cherish the nostalgic moments of their school days. Many fathers, teachers and the non-teaching staff have touched their hearts.
My primary duty is to build upon the noble task that my predecessors and the staff have accomplished. Continuing with the Xaverian tradition, we are privileged to have a dedicated team of teachers and non-teaching staff. We often come together to reflect to evolve the best possible formation to be given to the modern generation.
We have set up, in this regard, Committees and various Literary Clubs to foster the overall growth of the students. New avenues to foster sporting talents are in the offing and to enrich the esthetic sense, we regularly organize various cultural activities. Upgradation of the school to till Class XII is also in progress.
Renovation work and introspecting ourselves in the form doing orientation programme for the parents, teachers and students have begun. A new school anthem with the same tune instilling the Xaverian spirit is already in use.
Now we extend to you our invitation to join us towards making St. Xavier’s School, Durgapur, a temple of learning and a sweet home away from home where the future leaders of the world are molded. We look forward to collaborate with all our well-wishers in accomplishing this noble task.
Fr. Zenith William,S.J.
